Made in 1984, untouched by George Orwell, this Pentax Pino 35 E film camera was picked up for a trip to Portugal last November.
A few things to note about this camera:
- You set the film speed of either 100, 200, or 400 ISO
- You must manually open the lens
- You will need 2 AA batteries
- Type of film? If you’re in London, visit Analogue Films on Hanbury Street. We used Kodak Porto 400 film.
Vintage photos? Photography for nostalgia
What makes a photo vintage? I don’t think I’ve ever described a photo as vintage or retro (I usually leave that for clothes!) but if we’re talking about the ‘feels’, y’know, one that provokes a level of poignant nostalgia then yes, this camera does have the ability to create magic.
